What is an applet?

A small persistent app an agent builds for a workflow, such as a dashboard, calculator, or review tool, that opens in the workspace panel.

An applet is a versioned, self-contained HTML app rendered in the workspace panel. Agents generate them for shareable interactive UI: dashboards, calculators, prompt builders, compact review tools. Applets have shared state, so a team can use one together, and they run in a sandbox with no network access. Read more in Applets: generate the interface.
