Can I edit a PDF?

Context PDFs is for reading, searching and citing PDFs. To change the text, ask an agent for a Word document from the PDF and edit that in Context Docs.

Does search read scanned PDFs?

Search reads the text in a PDF. Scanned pages with no readable text are skipped and listed in the folder's details, so you can see what was not covered.

Who decides which folders are searchable?

An org admin turns on AI search for each folder and picks Smart or Deep. File names stay searchable everywhere.

Can an agent read every PDF in the workspace?

No. An agent reads with a task-scoped grant limited to files the person who asked can open, and every read is recorded in the audit log.

Where are my PDFs stored?

In Drive, which keeps files in your S3 or MinIO bucket when you run Context in your own cloud or on your own hardware.
