Questions
Which schedules can I set?
Hourly, daily, on weekdays or weekly on the days you pick, at a local time in your time zone, from a start date you choose.
Can an automation start from an event, like a new email?
Not today. Automations run on a schedule. For work that reacts to a message, mention an agent in a channel instead.
What does a run produce?
A normal task, with the transcript, any files it wrote and its outcome, linked from the automation's run history.
What if a run fails?
The run is marked failed in the history with its reason, and the automation keeps its schedule. You can pause it, fix the instructions and resume.
Can I test it before scheduling it?
Yes. Run the instructions as a normal task first. When the result is what you want, schedule the same instructions.
