What does ⌘K search?
The palette matches the names of files and folders and the titles of tasks, and offers actions. To search inside files, use Drive search.
Does search read inside my files?
Yes. Drive search matches text inside your files on every deployment, and searches by meaning in the folders your org admin turns AI search on for.
Can search show someone a file they cannot open?
No. Results are filtered by permission before they appear, for people and for agents.
Where does the search index live?
Indexing runs on your deployment's cluster, and the passages are stored in your organization's database.
Can I search from the command line?
Yes. Run context drive search in the Context CLI for the same results and the same permissions.
