Questions
Which computers does it run on?
Macs with Apple silicon or Intel processors, 64-bit Windows on Intel, AMD or Arm processors, and 64-bit Linux as an AppImage or a deb package. Each has its own download under Get the app.
Is the app the same as the web workspace?
Yes. Each tab opens your workspace web app, so tasks, channels and files match the web. The app adds tabs across workspaces and servers, Cascade dictation and desktop notifications.
Can I connect our own deployment?
Yes. Add your deployment's https address in Settings under Servers, and make it the default if you want new tabs to open there.
What happens to my voice when I dictate?
Audio goes to your default server for transcription and is not stored. On a Mac with Accessibility access the text is pasted at your cursor; on Windows, Linux or a Mac without that access, it is left on your clipboard.
How does the app update?
Updates download in the background and install the next time you restart the app. This works on Mac and Windows, and on Linux for both the AppImage and the deb.
Can the app read my files or control my browser?
No. The app shows your workspace in tabs. Agents do their work in the workspace's sandboxes, and links you open from it go to your own browser.
