Who we are: Explore Interfaces Inc. d/b/a Context (“Context,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Context platform and related websites, mobile applications, browser extensions, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the rights and choices available to you.
If you use Context under an agreement between Explore Interfaces Inc. d/b/a Context and an organization (e.g., your employer or your team) (a “Customer”), that organization controls its instance of the Services and all “Customer Data” within it. We are a processor/service provider for Customer Data and a controller/business for “Service Data” (defined below).

Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process about:
- Visitors to our sites and marketing properties.
- Users of the Services (including trial users).
- Individuals who interact with us (e.g., support, events, surveys).
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that you may access through Context.
Key Definitions
- Customer Data: Data (including personal data) a Customer or its users submit to the Services or connect via integrations.
- Service Data: Personal data we need to operate our business and the Services as an independent controller (e.g., account, billing, usage telemetry).
- Sensitive Personal Data: Special categories defined by law (e.g., precise location, health data, government IDs).
Personal Data We Collect
- Data you provide directly: account & profile info, workspace content, support & feedback.
- Data we collect automatically: usage, diagnostics, device, technical details, cookies.
- Data from third parties: integrations (e.g., email, calendar, docs), payment processors, marketing/event partners.
How We Use Personal Data
- As a processor (Customer Data): only to provide and secure the Services, follow Customer instructions, and comply with law.
- As a controller (Service Data): to provide, improve, and personalize the Services, communicate with you, ensure security, and comply with obligations.
- AI/ML features: Context may apply AI/ML within a Customer’s environment for features like summarization, search, and automation. We may use de-identified Service Data to improve features.
Cookies & Tracking
We use strictly necessary, functional, and analytics cookies on our Services. On our marketing sites, we may also use marketing cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser or via Cookie Settings.
How We Share Personal Data
We share personal data only with:
- Customers and authorized users.
- Subprocessors/service providers (e.g., AWS, Amplitude, SendGrid).
- Affiliates of Explore Interfaces Inc. d/b/a Context.
- Legal and compliance authorities when required.
- In business transfers (merger, acquisition, sale).
- With your consent or direction.
We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data Retention
- Customer Data: Retained for the term of our agreement with the Customer and deleted or returned per Customer instructions (with backups for 30–90 days).
- Service Data: Retained as long as needed, then deleted or anonymized.
Security
We implement encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, and secure development practices.
International Data Transfers
We may transfer personal data outside your country. For EU/UK/Switzerland, we use Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum where required.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt out of certain uses.

Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Role-Based Disclosures
- Processor role: For Customer Data, Explore Interfaces Inc. d/b/a Context follows Customer instructions.
- Controller role: For Service Data, Explore Interfaces Inc. d/b/a Context determines processing.

Third-Party Services & Integrations
Context integrates with third-party services (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365). Data shared with them is governed by their privacy policies.
Automated Decision-Making
We do not engage in automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or in-app.
